NEWS PAGE December 15, 1999: Mudslides of huge proportions bury thousands alive in Venezuela. The rains that preceded this disaster lasted for several days. This disaster is of similar proportions to the earthquakes in Turkey, where the August 11, 1999 eclipse occurred at the highest point in the heavens (i.e. it culminated in Turkey). However, major points in this disaster resonate more with the July 28 Lunar Eclipse. The time for this disaster (December 15, 1999, 9.00 PM Local Time) was taken from an eyewitness account that was recorded by a French television crew and aired by Paris 2 Television on their 8 PM telecast on December 23, 1999. One of the most interesting features of this chart is that the nodal axis is on the ascendant / descendant at 4 Leo, which resonates with the Sun / Moon axis of the July 28, 1999 Eclipse chart. Also, Mars and Uranus are together (conjunct) in the mudslide chart, and are in the same spot as (conjunct) the position of Uranus in the July 28, 1999 Eclipse chart. Mars has separated slightly (by a little more than one degree) from Uranus in the mudslide chart, but is is still closing in on Uranus by declination ( the exact parallel of Uranus and Mars occurred on Thursday December 16 at 8.47 PM EST). Also note that Venus is very active (it is opposite Saturn and squares Uranus), and that the Moon is about to activate Venus by Sesquiquadrate. All of these stressful combinations are additionally topped off with an almost exact Sun - Moon square. Also note that both the Sun and Moon are in signs ruled by Jupiter (which represents abundance, with the Moon in a water sign.
